Our vetting process is rigorous; our candidates will have typically graduated within the top 10% of their class from a top tier academic institution e.g. Oxbridge, Ivy League, INSEAD, LSE, Bocconi etc. and will have superior emotional intelligence.  Personality is vital!  If we don’t think we’ll be able to help you, we will be candid and hopefully point you in the right direction.

Recruitment Consultancy has become a career of choice both for new graduates and experienced people looking to transfer into more challenging, sociable and lucrative work.
What does a Recruitment Consultant do? 
The role of a Recruitment Consultant is a business to business sales role, performed in a highly consultative way. That means you will have to win new business from companies, identify their staffing requirements, fill the jobs and manage the relationship with the client to win more business from them in the future. Some jobs are harder to fill than others, depending on how much demand there is for those particular skills. You may already have the right candidates on your database, you may need to headhunt them from their current employment, or you may advertise in the papers or online, or a combination of these. During the interview process you will have to manage clients' and candidates' expectations and make sure they are happy with the service you are providing so that they will give you business in the future.
Do Recruitment Consultants have to sell?
Yes, most Consultants have to win new business and win client relationships so a natural grasp of a sales process is important. Even if you start your career as a Researcher in a Search Firm, with no client business to win, you will still need to cold-call companies to identify target individuals and pitch them opportunities. You must be confident on the phone and be able and willing to work to targets. Do not consider recruitment unless you would consider other forms of sales jobs.
What are the career prospects?
There are three career paths in recruitment, which often overlap. One is management, where you would lead a team of recruiters specialising in a particular discipline. Another career option would be to recruit at an increasingly senior level as you become more experienced or you could work as an internal recruiter at a large company.
What can I earn?
Basic salaries at entry level can vary from £20,000 to £28,000 depending on previous sales experience and location.  There are always commission and bonus structures and you can expect to earn roughly a quarter to a third of the revenue you bring into your company. Recruitment is well paid and you should expect to earn considerably more than your peers in other roles. However, be prepared to work long hours and be under pressure to hit targets and deliver to you clients and candidates.
